Controlled Analysis of the Application of Remimazolam and Propofol in Patients Undergoing Modified Radical Breast Cancer Surgery
Objective To compare the effects of anesthesia achieved by remimazolam and propofol in patients undergo-ing modified radical breast cancer surgery. Methods A total of 60 breast cancer patients who underwent modified radi-cal mastectomy in Jinan First People's Hospital from August 2020 to July 2023 were randomly selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with propofol for anesthesia induction and maintenance, and the study group was treated with remimazolam for anesthesia induction and maintenance.Heart rate and mean arterial pressure at different time points, operation time, recovery time, opioid dosage, and adverse reactions of anesthesia were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the results of the control group 10 min after the operation and after extubation, the heart rate and mean arterial pressure indexes of the study group were higher, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in operation time and opioid dosage between the two groups(both P>0.05).The recovery time of the study group was(6.80±2.56)min,which was shorter than(9.03±2.00)min of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.760,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the inci-dence of adverse reactions of anesthesia between the study group(6.67%)and the control group(13.33%)(χ2=0.185,P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with propofol, remimazolam can effectively maintain the hemodynamic stability of pa-tients undergoing modified radical breast cancer surgery, shorten the time of awakening, with good safety, and has clinical application value.
