Clinical Effect and Safety Analysis of Application of Valsartan Combined with Nifedipine Controlled-release Tablets in Patients with Essential Hy-pertension
Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of combining valsartan and nifedipine controlled-release tablets in the treatment of patients with essential hypertension. Methods A total of 100 patients with essential hypertension treated in Mengyin County People's Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects, and the control group and observation group were selected according to simple random sampling method. The control group(50 cases)received nifedipine treatment, and the observation group(50 cases)received val-sartan treatment on the basis of the control group. The ambulate blood pressure, clinical efficacy, blood lipid index, vascular endothelial function index and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The average diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure of the two groups at 24 hours, day and night after treatment showed a decreasing trend, and the observation group were lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(96.00%vs 82.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.005,P<0.05).After treatment, total cholesterol,triglyceride,low-density lipoprotein, renin, angiotensin Ⅱ and aldosterone in 2 groups were decreased, and observation group were lower than control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of valsartan and nifedipine in the treatment of patients with essential hypertension can lower blood pressure more effectively and stably, and the effectiveness and safety of treatment are balanced.
