To Analyze the Clinical Value of Femoral Neck Power Cross-nailing Sys-tem in Treating Pauwels Type Ⅱ and Type Ⅲ Femoral Neck Fractures in Young and Middle-aged People
Objective To investigate the clinical value of femoral neck power cross-nailing system for the treatment of Pauwels type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ femoral neck fractures in young and middle-aged people. Methods 155 cases of young and middle-aged patients with Pauwels Ⅱ type Ⅲ femoral neck fracture treated in Sanming Integrated Medical Hospi-tal from January 2020 to July 2022 were randomly selected as study subjects, and were divided into the control group(n=80)and the treatment group(n=75)by the method of randomized number table, and underwent internal fixation of the hollow screw and femoral neck power cross-nailing system, respectively. The clinical indexes and the occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of hospitalization time between the two groups(P>0.05).In the treatment group, the operation time[(45.57±4.44)min]was shorter than that of the control group, the fracture healing time[(3.61±0.87)months]was ear-lier than that of the control group, the Harris Hip Function Score[(92.49±5.51)points]was higher than that of the con-trol group, and the femoral neck shortening length[(4.91±1.05)mm]was shorter than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=38.498,5.657,4.304,7.786,all P<0.05).Intraoperative bleeding[(17.32±5.21)mL]in the control group was less than that in the treatment group, and the total length of incision[(3.51±0.82)cm]was shorter than that in the treatment group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=11.380,6.032,both P<0.05).The complication rate of the treatment group(2.67%)was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.326,P<0.05).Conclusion Internal fixation with hollow screws as well as femoral neck power cross-nailing system for the treatment of young and middle-aged Pauwels type Ⅱ and type Ⅲfemoral neck fractures did not have significant differences in hospitalization time.Internal fixation with hollow screws reduces intraoperative bleeding and shortens the total length of the incision, while the femoral neck power cross-nailing system reduces operative time, fracture healing time, femoral neck shortening length, improves the Harris score, and reduces the complication rate.
