Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Postoperative Holistic Nursing Service for Patients with Benign Breast Tumors
Objective To explore the application effect of holistic nursing service program in postoperative patients with benign breast tumors.Methods 82 postoperative patients with benign breast tumors admitted to Binzhou City Central Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into two groups of 41 cases each,according to the odd-even grouping method.The reference group applied postoperative rou-tine nursing care mode,and the study group adopted the overall nursing service plan on the basis of the reference group.Negative emotions,shoulder mobility,and quality of life before and after nursing care were compared between the two groups.Results Anxiety scores,depression scores,fear scores,and inferiority scores negative emotional indica-tors in the study group were lower than those in the reference group after care,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Shoulder mobility of the study group such as internal retraction amplitude,abduction ampli-tude,anterior flexion supination amplitude,and posterior extension amplitude were higher than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Emotional function(20.05±2.18)points,cognitive function(24.92±2.32)points,social function(23.93±2.12)points,and physiological function(24.02±2.14)points of the study group were higher than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(t= 4.272,7.724,6.545,4.912,all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of a holistic nursing service program helps to im-prove shoulder mobility in postoperative patients with benign breast tumors,helps to alleviate patients'bad moods,and also improves patients'quality of life.
