Objective To explore the effect of pain care + hospice care on patients with advanced gastric cancer. Methods 96 patients with advanced gastric cancer in Department of Oncology of Juye County People's Hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects. They were divided into refer-ence group and care group according to odd-even number,43 cases in each group. The reference group was general care, and the care group was pain care + hospice care. The study was conducted to assess pain levels, compare cancer-related fatigue, and observe hope levels and quality of life. Results In the care group, the rate of mild pain was 18.60%,and the rate of severe pain was 11.63%,which were better than 4.65%and 32.56%in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(χ2=4.074,5.472,both P<0.05).Before care, there was no statistically sig-nificant difference in the degree of cancer fatigue between the two groups(P>0.05).After care, the degree of cancer fa-tigue in the care group was lower than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before care, there was no statistically significant difference in the hope level between the two groups(P>0.05).After care, the hope level in the care group was higher than that in the reference group, and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).The quality of life in the care group was higher than the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Pain care + hospice care can effectively reduce the problem of cancer-related fatigue, reduce the sense of pain, improve the hope level of advanced gastric cancer patients, and im-prove the quality of life.
