Effect of Huangqi Baihe Jiegeng Decoction on Postoperative Cough of Pul-monary Nodules
Objective To investigate the effect and value of Huangqi Baihe Jiegeng decoction in treating cough in pa-tients with pulmonary nodules after operation.Methods A total of ninety-four patients with cough after pulmonary nod-ule surgery admitted to Tongzhou District People's Hospital of Nantong from January 2021 to December 2022 were conveniently selected as the subjects of this study.They were randomly divided into two groups with forty-seven cases each.The control group was treated with loquat extract.The observation group was treated with Huangqi Baihe Jiegeng decoction.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared,the TCM syndromes of the two groups of patients were evaluated before and after treatment,the inflammatory indicators of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were detected,and the adverse reactions of the patients in each group were observed.Results The total effective rate(97.87%)in the observation group was higher than that(82.98%)in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.424,P<0.05);before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in Chi-nese medicine syndrome scores and inflammatory indicators between the two groups(all P>0.05);after treatment,the Chinese medicine syndrome evaluation scores and inflammatory indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05);there was no statistically signifi-cant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Treating patients with cough after pulmonary nodule operation with Huangqi Baihe Jiegeng decoction can effectively improve symptom response,reduce inflammation,and have no serious adverse reactions.
