Meta-analysis of the Effect of Timing of Labor Analgesia Initiation on La-bor Outcomes
Objective To explore the effect of timing of analgesia in labor on the outcome of labor.Methods The litera-ture on the timing of onset of labor analgesia was searched in well-known databases at home and abroad,and the lit-erature was screened and analyzed with RevMan 5.3.5 software.Results A total of 14 literatures were included,with moderate evidence strength.Conclusion At present,no studies have shown that early implementation of labor analge-sia will lead to adverse outcomes in labor,but can shorten the time of the first stage of labor.Therefore,in order to im-prove the comfort of childbirth,labor analgesia can be implemented according to the will of the mother rather than ac-cording to the size of the uterine opening.
