Clinical Value of Endoscopic Mucosal Resection in the Treatment of Ses-sile Polyps of Digestive Tract
Objective To investigate the application value of endoscopic mucosal resection in the treatment of sessile polyps of digestive tract. Methods A total of 112 patients with stemless polyps of digestive tract admitted to the 73rd Group Military Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from January 2022 to April 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, with 56 cases in each group. The control group underwent conventional endoscopic high-frequency electroco-agulation resection, and the observation group underwent endoscopic mucosal resection.Perioperative indexes,surgi-cal resection effect,pre-and post-operative inflammatory factor indexes and postoperative complications were com-pared between the two groups. Results The perioperative level of the observation group was better than that of the con-trol group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The success rate of resection in observation group was 98.21%higher than that in control group(87.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.846,P= 0.028);serum C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 1 day after surgery of two groups were higher than those 1 day be-fore surgery, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05);serum C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 3 days after surgery of two groups were decreased, and serum C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 in the observa-tion group were lower than those in the control group 1 and 3 days after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the tradi-tional application of high-frequency electrocoagulation and electroresection, endoscopic mucosal resection can reduce the operation time and reduce the trauma to patients. In this way,it is convenient to accelerate the early recovery of patients after surgery, improve the effect of polypectomy, reduce the level of postoperative inflammatory factors, and the incidence of postoperative complications is low.
