Efficacy of Mecobalamine Tablets Combined with Prednisolone Acetate in the Treatment of Peripheral Facial Paralysis and Its Effect on T Lympho-cyte Subsets
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of mecobalamine tablets combined with prednisolone acetate in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis and its influence of T lymphocyte subsets. Methods A total of 130 pa-tients with peripheral facial paralysis admitted to the Department of Otolaryngology and Neurology of Nanping Second Hospital from March 2018 to December 2022 were conveniently selected as study subjects.Patients were divided into control group(n=65,treated with vitamin + prednisolone acetate)and observation group(n=65,treated with mecobala-mine tablet on the basis of control group)according to the difference of treatment method. After treatment, the immune indexes, facial nerve function scores and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment,Portmann, facial disability index physical function and facial disability index social function scores in observation group were higher than those in the control group, while CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The clinical effective rate of observation group(92.31%)was higher than that of control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2= 4.127,P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, the combination of mecobalamine tablets and prednisolone acetate can effectively regulate the immune function of patients, promote the recovery of facial nerves, and thus achieve the purpose of improving the clinical effect.
