Effect of Valsartan Capsule Combined with Nifedipine Controlled Release Tablets on Blood Pressure in Patients with Hypertension
Objective To analyze the effect of combination of valsartan capsule and nifedipine controlled release tab-lets on patients with hypertension.Methods 102 hypertensive patients admitted to Yongtai County Hospital in Fujian Province from April 2021 to April 2023 were conveniently selected as study subjects,and were divided into the refer-ence group(valsartan capsule monotherapy)and the study group(nifedipine controlled-release tablets + valsartan cap-sule combination therapy)according to the method of randomized numerical table,each with 51 cases.Compared the clinical treatment efficiency,heart rate,blood pressure,and adverse reactions of the two groups.Results The clinical treatment efficiency of the study group was 96.08%,which was higher than the 84.31%of the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.991,P=0.046).After treatment,the heart rate of the study group(84.98±6.22)beats/min was lower than that of the reference group(89.69±6.34)beats/min,the diastolic blood pressure of the study group(82.12±3.22)mmHg was lower than that of the reference group(86.35±3.41)mmHg,and the systolic blood pressure(122.12±4.11)mmHg was lower than that of the reference group(135.41±3.31)mmHg,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 5.88%,which was lower than the 19.61%in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.320,P= 0.038).Conclusion Valsartan capsule combined with nifedipine controlled release tablets has significant therapeutic effect,and can effectively control blood pressure under the premise of safety.
