Objective To investigate the application value of pain nursing combined with nutritional support in naso-pharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy patients.Methods Seventy patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated with ra-diotherapy in Quanzhou First Hospital of Fujian Province from July 2021 to June 2022 were selected conveniently and randomly as the research object and divided into two groups according to random number table method,with thirty-five patients in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received pain nurs-ing and nutritional support on this basis.The pain degree of oral mucositis,ulcer healing time,nutritional status,qual-ity of life score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The healing time of observa-tion group was shorter than that of control group;and the pain score of observation group was lower than that of control group;the proportion of grade A nutrition status in observation group was better than that in control group;physiologi-cal status scores,emotional status scores,social/family status scores and functional status scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05);the to-tal nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 94.29%higher than that of the control group 77.14%,and the dif-ference was statistically significant(χ2=4.200,P＜0.05).Conclusion During nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy,the active application of individualized nutrition support and pain nursing program can effectively improve the degree of pain related to oral mucositis and the nutritional status of the patients,promote the healing of ulcer surface,and im-prove the quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
