Effects of Nursing Measures under Positive Incentive Mode on Postopera-tive Mental State and Self-care Ability of Patients with Rectal Cancer
Objective To explore the effect of nursing measures under positive incentive mode in patients with rectal cancer and the effect on postoperative psychological state and self-care ability. Methods A total of 82 patients with rectal cancer admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from March 2020 to February 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing mode, and the observation group combined nursing measures based on positive incentive mode on the basis of the control group for 3 months, and compared the mental state,self-care ability, coping style and quality of life of patients in the two groups of patients. Results After 3 months of intervention, the scores of Anxiety Self-rating Scale(44.57±3.51)points and De-pression Self-rating Scale(45.24±4.19)points in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(49.58±4.12)points and(52.83±4.57)points,and the score of Self-care Ability Scale(158.23±7.71)points was higher than that of control group(134.51±6.83)points,and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.927,7.839,14.746,all P<0.05).In the Questionnaire of Post-intervention Medical Coping Style, the face score(29.27±2.42)points,yield score(5.29±1.32)points and avoidance score(9.12±1.95)points of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After intervention, the environ-mental function score(90.55±4.39)points,psychological function score(94.81±4.54)points,physiological function score(90.32±4.91)points and social function score(93.12±4.43)points in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Positive incentive nursing for rectal cancer patients can improve their psychological state, dare to face the disease, and improve their self-care abil-ity and quality of life.
