Application of Acupoint Hot Compress and Massage in Nursing Care of Patients with Sepsis Intestinal Dysfunction
Objective To analyze the effect of acupoint hot compress and massage in nursing care of patients with sep-sis intestinal dysfunction.Methods A total of 80 patients with sepsis intestinal dysfunction admitted to the Depart-ment of critical Care Medicine of Fujian Second People's Hospital from May 2021 to April 2023 were randomly se-lected as the study objects,and were divided into the study group(n=40)and the control group(n=40)according to a random number table.The control group took routine nursing measures,and the study group applied acupoint hot com-press and massage on the basis of nursing.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and the Revised Piper Fatigue Scale were compared between the two groups before intervention and 7 days after intervention RPFS,General Com-fort Questionnaire(GCQ)and nursing satisfaction.Results After 7 days of intervention,PSQI score of the study group(7.23±1.58)points was lower than that of the control group(10.23±2.06)points,and the difference was statistically significant(t=7.308,P＜0.05)points.The GCQ score of the study group(96.65±15.02)points was higher than that of the control group(82.65±16.03)points,the RPFS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group,and the total satisfaction rate of nursing in the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupoint hot compress and massage have achieved ideal results in the nursing of septic intestinal dysfunction.By promoting the recovery of intestinal function,improving re-lated clinical symptoms,effectively guaranteeing the body comfort and sleep quality of patients,alleviating their fa-tigue,and improving nursing satisfaction.
