Role of Early Warning Risk Nursing in the Prevention of Lower Extremity Venous Thrombosis after Hip Fracture in Elderly Patients
Objective To explore the application value of early warning risk nursing in elderly patients after hip frac-ture.Methods A total of one hundred and two patients with hip fracture admitted to Nanjing Jiangning Hospital from January 2023 to October 2023 were conveniently selected as research subjects and divided into control group and study group by sealed envelope method,51 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the study group was given early warning risk nursing. After 1 month of nursing intervention, the incidence of venous thrombosis of lower extremity was assessed. Before intervention and 1 month after intervention, the scores of General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES)and Exercise of Self-care Agency Scale(ESCA)were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of venous thrombosis in the study group(1.96%)was lower than that in the control group(13.73.%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.883,P=0.027).Before nursing intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in GSES and ESCA scores between the two groups(both P>0.05).After 1 month of nursing, the GSES and ESCA scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Early warning risk nursing for elderly patients undergo-ing hip fracture surgery has a significant effect, which can reduce the incidence of lower limb vein thrombosis,en-hance patients'self-efficacy and self-care ability, and promote patients'postoperative rehabilitation.
