Effect of Self-blood Injection Combined with Acupuncture at Xinwu Point in the Treatment of Patients with Allergic Rhinitis
Objective To analyze the effect of self-blood injection combined with acupuncture at Xinwu point in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.Methods A total of 218 patients with allergic rhinitis who received treatment in Suining County Bo'ai Hospital from June 2019 to November 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into two groups with 109 cases each using a random number table method.The control group was treated with tradi-tional acupuncture,and the observation group was treated with self-blood injection combined with acupuncture at Xinwu point.The percentage of eosinophils,serum total immunoglobulin E level,Visual Analogue Score(VAS)score and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Results There was no significant dif-ference in percentage of eosinophils and serum total immunoglobulin E between the two groups before treatment(both P>0.05).The percentage of eosinophils and serum total immunoglobulin E in the observation group were lower than those of the control group after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(t=25.707,38.966,both P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in nasal congestion,runny nose and sneezing scores be-tween the two groups(all P>0.05).The scores of nasal congestion,runny nose and sneezing in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of self-blood injection combined with acupuncture at Xinwu point in the treatment of patients with allergic rhinitis can achieve significant effect and improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
