The Application of Carbon Dioxide Laser Marginal Arc Excision Surgery in Patients with Labia Minoris Hypertrophy
Objective To determine the clinical effect of the application of carbon dioxide laser marginal arc excision for patients with labia minora hypertrophy. Methods A total of 60 patients with labia minia, who were admitted to the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Zibo City from January 2020 to December 2022 were randomly selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into control group(30 cases with traditional marginal arc resection)and observa-tion group(30 cases with carbon dioxide laser marginal arc resection)according to random number table method.Op-eration time, intraoperative blood loss, pain score, incidence of hematoma, good wound healing rate and satisfaction of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The operation time of observation group(11.12±1.22)min was sig-nificantly shorter than that of control group(37.86±3.19)min,and the difference was statistically significant(t= 25.363,P<0.05).The amount of intraoperative blood loss, pain score and incidence of hematoma in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the rate of good incision healing and satisfaction were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Carbon dioxide laser edge arc resection has a good application effect in patients with hypertrophy of the la-bia minora, which can significantly shorten the operation time, reduce intraoperative blood loss, pain score, and the in-cidence of hematoma, improve the rate of good incision healing and patient satisfaction.
