Analysis of the Effectiveness of Extracorporeal Circulation Cardiac Sur-gery in Treating Children with Congenital Heart Disease
Objective To investigate the effect of extracorporeal circulation cardiac surgery in children with congenital heart disease. Methods A total of 65 children with congenital heart disease in the Department of Cardiovascular Sur-gery of Quanzhou First Hospital of Fujian Province from September 2020 to August 2022 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group and study group by random number table method. The control group(33 cases)received open-chest surgery, and the study group(32 cases)received minimally invasive small-incision cardiopulmonary bypass surgery. The indexes and surgical effects of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the operation time, cardiopulmonary bypass time, aortic occlusion time,ICU time and hospital stay in the study group were shorter, and the quality of life scores were higher, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 12.50%,which was lower than that in the control group(33.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2= 3.972,P=0.046).Conclusion Minimally invasive small incision cardiopulmonary bypass surgery for children with con-genital heart disease can shorten the operation time and ICU stay time, reduce postoperative complications and im-prove postoperative quality of life.
