The Effects of Crocetin Gel on Symptoms and Inflammatory Factors in Acne Patients
Objective To study the clinical effects of croxophenone gel in the treatment of acne.Methods A total of 350 acne patients admitted to Jiangsu Funing County Center for Disease Control and Prevention from June 2022 to June 2023 were conveniently selected as the study subjects.They were divided into two groups according to random number table method.The control group(175 cases)received conventional treatment and the study group(175 cases)received Crocuocryptosterone gel treatment.Symptom improvement effect,therapeutic effect,inflammatory factor level and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The symptom scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.43%,higher than that of the control group(78.86%),and the dif-ference was statistically significant(χ2=21.446,P<0.001).The level of inflammatory factors in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of acne patients with crocetin gel can effectively improve the symptoms,improve the efficacy,regulate the level of inflam-matory factors and have high safety.
