Effect of Fast Track Surgery in Perioperative Nursing of Multiple Maxillo-facial Fractures
Objective To analyze the effect of fast track surgery(FTS)in perioperative nursing of multiple maxillofa-cial fractures. Methods A total of eighty patients with multiple maxillofacial fractures admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from June 2022 to June 2023 were simple randomly selected and divided into two groups using a random number table. The control group of forty patients received conventional perioperative nurs-ing measures, and the study group of forty patients received perioperative nursing based on FTS concept. The scores of anxiety(A)and depression(D)in hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS),general comfort questionnaire(GCQ)scale, mouth opening and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention,HADS(D),HADS(A)and scale scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).One month after nursing, the GCQ scale score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The index of mouth open-ing was(27.65±4.50)mm was higher than that of control group was(24.60±5.03)mm,and the difference was statisti-cally significant was(t=2.858,P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of the study group 97.50%was higher than that of the control group 80.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.507,P<0.05).Conclusion The use of FTS concept in perioperative nursing for patients with maxillofacial multiple fractures can effectively improve adverse psychological conditions, promote the recovery of mouth opening, and improve comfort and nursing satisfaction.
