Objective To analyze the value of rapid recovery surgery for perioperative care of varicose veins of lower limbs. Methods A total of 72 patients who underwent lower extremity varicose vein surgery at Caoxian People's Hospi-tal from October 2021 to September 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into two groups using a random double-blind method. The research group(n=36)received rapid recovery surgical care, while the control group(n=36)received routine care.Complications, length of hospital stay and ambulation time, and satis-faction were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of complications in the study group was 2.78%,lower than the control group's 19.44%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.143,P<0.05).The hospitalization time and out-of-bed activity time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=4.129,8.533,both P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the research group was 100.00%,which was higher than the control group's 83.33%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.925,P<0.05).Conclusion Using rapid recovery surgical care for varicose veins of lower limbs during periopera-tive period, patients have lower complication rate, shorter time to get out of bed,and more obvious improvement in pa-tient satisfaction.
