Clinical Effect of Holmium Laser Lithotripsy in the Treatment of Urinary Calculi and Its Influence on the Degree of Pain
Objective To study the clinical effect of holmium laser lithotripsy(HLL)in the treatment of urinary calculi and its influence on the degree of pain. Methods A total of eighty-four patients with urinary calculi admitted to Sha-owu Municipal Hospital for surgical treatment from August 2020 to June 2022 were conveniently selected as the re-search object, and the two groups were divided into control group and observation group,20 cases each. The control group received pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy(PL),and the observation group received(holmium laser lithotripsy)HLL.The rate of one-time lithotomy, surgical conditions, postoperative pain degree, inflammation degree before and after surgery and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The one-time gravel rate in the observation group was 95.24%,higher than 80.95%in the control group, the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The basic indexes and postoperative VAS scores of the observation group were less and shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The CRP and PCT values in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group one day after operation, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 7.14%,lower than 23.81%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion HLL is effective in the treatment of urinary calculi, the one-time lithotripsy rate is high, and it can effectively reduce the de-gree of postoperative pain and inflammation, and reduce the occurrence of complications.
