Clinical Effect of Continuous Intracranial Pressure Monitoring and Early Warning in Patients undergoing Severe Craniocerebral Injury Surgery
Objective For the patients with severe craniocerebral injury, the early warning measures of continuous in-tracranial pressure monitoring were introduced to evaluate its clinical application effect. Methods A total of 80 patients with severe craniocerebral injury undergoing surgery in Changshu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Jiangsu Province from January 2019 to January 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups with 40 cases in each group by random number table method. The observation group underwent surgery with continuous intracranial pressure monitoring and early warning technology, while the control group underwent routine surgery. The prognosis, complications, intracranial pressure, mannitol medication and coma degree were compared be-tween the two groups. Results The good prognosis rate of observation group(82.50%)was higher than that of control group(62.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.012,P<0.05).The total incidence of related com-plications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of intracranial pressure in the two groups continued to decrease, and the level of intracranial pres-sure in the observation group was lower than that in the control group 40 and 60 h after surgery, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Within 1 week of treatment, the duration of mannitol administration and total man-nitol administration in observation group were lower than those in control group, and Glasgow coma score was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The integration of con-tinuous intracranial pressure monitoring and early warning measures into patients undergoing severe craniocerebral in-jury surgery can effectively improve the condition status of patients, stabilize the level of intracranial pressure after surgery, reduce the risk of complications, and improve the overall prognosis quality of patients. The effect is signifi-cant.
