Effect of Diversified Nursing in Patients with Sinusitis Treated by Nasal Endoscopy and Its Influence on Their Mood and Sleep
Objective To explore the clinical effects of multiple nursing on negative mood and sleep quality in patients with rhinosinusitis treated with nasal endoscopy.Methods A total of 106 patients with sinusitis who underwent nasal endoscopic treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected conveniently as the study objects,and were divided into control group(n=53)and diversified group(n=53)according to random number table method.The control group received routine basic nursing,while the diversified group received diversified nursing on the basis of the control group.Postoperative recovery quality,negative mood,sleep quality and quality of life before and after care were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,symptom scores and mucosal morphology scores in the diversified group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The scores of Hamilton Depression Scale(9.12±2.56)points and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(8.27±2.13)points in the diversified group were lower than those in the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(t=6.241,5.121,both P<0.05).The Pittsburgh sleep quality index in the diversified group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Chinese version of the sinusoid outcome test-20 score in the diversified group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with sinusitis treated with nasal endoscopy,the use of diversified nursing can not only effectively improve the quality of postoperative recovery,but also alleviate their negative emotions,improve their sleep quality and quality of life.
