Efficacy and Adverse Reactions of Modified Small Incision Resection for Thyroid Nodules
Objective To analyze the clinical effects and adverse reactions of patients with thyroid nodules treated with modified small incision resection. Methods A total of 110 patients with thyroid nodules treated by the general surgery department in Yuncheng County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2018 to April 2023 were simply and randomly selected as the study objects and divided into study group(55 cases underwent modified small incision resection)and control group(55 cases underwent thyroidectomy)according to random number table method. The therapeutic effect, postoperative complications, clinical indicators, thyroid function and inflammatory fac-tors were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, thyroid function, inflammatory factors and clini-cal related indexes in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 98.18%,higher than that of the control group(87.27%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.823,P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative com-plications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified small incision resection for thyroid nodule patients can significantly improve the clinical effect, and actively improve thyroid function and inflammatory factors.
