Application Value of Gastric Tube Lavage Guided by Tracheal Catheter in Emergency Treatment of Organophosphorus Pesticide Poisoning
Objective To analyze the application value of gastric tube lavage guided by tracheal catheter in emergency treatment of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.Methods A total of 158 patients with organophosphorus pesticide poisoning admitted to Youxi County General Hospital of Fujian Province from May 2019 to June 2023 were conve-niently selected as the study objects,and they were divided into control group and study group by random number table method,with 79 cases in each group.The control group received conventional gastric lavage,and the study group received gastric tube lavage guided by tracheal catheter.The success rate of first intubation,intubation time,complica-tions,choline index recovery time,symptom relief time and atropinization time were compared between the two groups.Results The success rate of first intubation in the study group(92.41%)was higher than that in the control group(78.48%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.157,P=0.013).The intubation time of the study group was(93.28±17.62)s,which was shorter than that of the control group(161.27±31.61)s,and the difference was statisti-cally significant(t=16.699,P<0.001).The incidence of complications in study group was lower than that in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.788,P=0.029).The recovery time of choline indexes,the remission time of poisoning symptoms and the occurrence time of atropinization in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.001).Conclusion In the first aid of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning,gastric tube lavage guided by tracheal catheter has a higher success rate and shorter intubation time,and can reduce the risk of complications and help to improve the symptoms of patients.
