Clinical Effect of Endoscopic Mucosal Dissection in the Treatment of Early Gastrointestinal Cancer and Precancerous Lesions
Objective To investigate the effect of endoscopic mucosal dissection in patients with early gastrointestinal cancer and precancerous lesions. Methods The clinical data of 102 patients with early gastrointestinal cancer and pre-cancerous lesions who received surgical treatment in the gastroenterology Department of the Second Hospital of Long-yan City from January to December 2021 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to clini-cal surgical intervention methods, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with endoscopic mucosal resection, and the observation group was treated with endoscopic mucosal dissection. The surgical resection, surgical indexes, the incidence of complications and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups of patients. Results After treatment, the curative resection rate of the observation group was 84.31%,the whole resection rate was 96.08%,and the complete resection rate was 92.16%,which were higher than 62.75%,78.43%,74.51%of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=6.095,7.141,5.718,all P<0.05).The incidence of short-term and long-term complications in the observation group were lower than that in the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The life quality scores of the observation group at 3,6 and 12 months after operation were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic mucosal dissection can improve the resection effect, reduce the incidence of compli-cations and improve patients'quality of life.
