Clinical Effect of Mechanically Assisted Sputum Drainage Combined with Erythromycin in the Treatment of Mycoplasma Pneumonia
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of mechanically assisted sputum drainage combined with erythro-mycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods A total of 146 patients with mycoplasma pneumonia re-ceived by the Department of Pediatrics of Xuyi County People's Hospital from May 2021 to September 2023 were con-veniently selected as the study objects and were numbered according to the order of admission.Used statistical soft-ware to generate random sequences, and divided the patients into control group and observation group, with 73 cases in each group. The control group was treated with erythromycin alone, and the observation group was treated with me-chanically assisted sputum drainage based on the control group. The clinical efficacy, lung function and safety of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.818,P<0.05).Pulmonary capacity, peak expiratory flow rate and forced expiratory volume in the first second in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.016,3.179,2.780,all P<0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.871,P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with mycoplasma pneumonia, mechanically assisted sputum drainage combined with erythromycin has a remarkable effect, which is helpful to improve the lung function of pa-tients,and has high safety.
