Clinical Value and Pharmaceutical Analysis of Amlodipine Besylate Com-bined with Valsartan in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Hyperten-sion
Objective To investigate the effect of amlodipine besylate and valsartan in the treatment of elderly hyper-tensive diseases.Methods 92 elderly hypertensive patients admitted to Zaozhuang Shanting District People's Hospital from July 2022 to July 2023 were conveniently selected as the research subjects,and were divided into a control group and a study group based on odd even grouping principle,with 46 cases in each group.The control group patients were only treated with valsartan,while the study group patients were treated with a combination of amlodipine besylate on the basis of valsartan.The effect of medication in each group was evaluated,and the fluctuation of blood pressure,re-nal function index,homocysteine value and adverse reactions before and after treatment in two groups were counted and analyzed.Results After 2 weeks to 2 months of treatment,the systolic and diastolic blood pressure results of the study group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The decrease in renal function indexes such as uric acid,creatinine,and serum urea nitrogen in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The homocysteine level in the study group after treatment was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=26.676,P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of ad-verse reactions between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined application of amlodipine besylate and valsartan is of great significance for controlling blood pressure level in elderly hypertensive population.
