Effect of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on Dry Eye after Cataract Operation
Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in dry eye patients after cataract surgery.Methods A total of 80 patients with dry eye after senile cataract surgery treated in the ophthalmology depart-ment of Taicang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to March 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects,and divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received comprehensive nursing.Nursing satisfaction,negative emotion and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The nursing satisfac-tion of the observation group was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(χ2=4.114,P<0.05).After nursing,the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the negative emotion index score was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention for patients with dry eyes after cataract surgery can relieve the tension between nurses and patients,improve the nega-tive mentality of patients,and further improve their quality of life.
