Clinical Efficacy of Lianhua Qingwen Granule Combined with Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray in the Treatment of Sinusitis in Children with Asthma and Its Effects on Lung Function and Inflammatory Factors
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Lianhua Qingwen Granule combined with fluticasone propio-nate nasal spray on sinusitis in children with asthma,and the effects on lung function and inflammatory factors.Meth-ods A total of 66 children with asthma co-suffering from sinusitis admitted to the Second Hospital of Longyan City from January 2021 to September 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group(treated with fluticasone propionate nasal spray)and study group(treated with Lianhua Qingwen granule on the basis of the control group)by random number table method,with 33 cases in each group.The therapeutic effect,lung function and serum inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups of children.Results The total ef-fective rate of study group(93.94%)was significantly higher than that of control group(75.76%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.243,P<0.05).The improvement time of cough,dyspnea,nasal congestion and runny nose in the study group was shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,forced expiratory volume(FEV1)at the first second(1.72±0.24)L,forced vital capacity(FVC)(2.12±0.34)L and peak expiratory flow(PEF)(3.24±0.46)L/s in the study group were higher than those in con-trol group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,interleukin-4(IL-4),inter-leukin-6(IL-6)and tumor Necrosis Factor(TNF-α)in the study group were all lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Lianhua Qingyuan combined with flutica-sone propionate nasal spray is effective in the treatment of sinusitis in children with asthma,which can quickly elimi-nate clinical symptoms,improve lung function and reduce the level of inflammation.
