Comparison of Percutaneous Minimally Invasive Pedicle Nail Internal Fixation with Traditional Open Surgery in the Treatment of Patients with Vertebral Fractures
Objective To analyze and compare the efficacy of percutaneous minimally invasive pedicle nail internal fixation and traditional open surgery in the treatment of vertebral fractures. Methods A total of 84 patients with verte-bral fracture admitted to Sihong Zhongxin Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected conveniently as the study objects and were randomly divided into the study group(percutaneous minimally invasive pedicle nail in-ternal fixation,42 cases)and the control group(traditional open surgery,42 cases)by random number table method.Clinical indicators, imaging results, clinical scores and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical indexes,Cobb angle, pain score and total complication rate were significantly lower than those of the con-trol group. The anterior compression ratio of injured vertebra was significantly higher than that of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The prognosis score(11.41±1.44)points was significantly higher than that of control group(10.23±1.46)points,and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.729,P<0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous minimally invasive pedicle nail internal fixation can improve the surgical efficiency of pa-tients with vertebral fracture, promote the early recovery of fracture, and have high surgical safety.
