Effectiveness of Pyrazinamide Combined with Levofloxacin in the Treat-ment of Patients with Drug-resistant Tuberculosis
Objective To improve the clinical efficacy of combined pyrazinamide and levofloxacin in the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis patients. Methods A total of 60 patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis from January 2020 to November 2022 in the Shantou Third People's Hospital were selected randomly as the study objects. They were divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group according to the order of admission. The control group was treated with ethambutol capsules+ rifampicin capsules+ isoniazid tablets+ pyrazinamide, and the observation group was treated with levofloxacin based on the control group.Compared the effective rate of treatment between the two groups X-ray examination of patients'chest was carried out after 3 months of treatment and 6 months to count the ab-sorption of lesions, the number of cavities closed, the sputum culture for negative, and the number of adverse reac-tions.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 83.33%,higher than that in the control group, which was 60.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.022,P<0.05).The rates of lesions ab-sorbed and reduced, cavities closed, and sputum cultures turned negative 6 months after treatment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The in-cidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.320,P<0.05).Conclusion The use of pyrazinamide combined with levofloxacin in the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis patients can effectively improve the clinical efficacy and improve the immune function of the patients.
