Clinical Value of Buspirone Hydrochloride in the Treatment of Patients with Alzheimer's Disease Complicated with Depression and Anxiety Disor-der
Objective To investigate the effect of buspirone hydrochloride in the treatment of patients with Al-zheimer's disease complicated with depression and anxiety disorder.Methods A total of 76 patients with Alzheimer's disease combined with depression and anxiety disorder admitted to the Fourth People's Hospital of Liaocheng City from August 2022 to October 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects.The patients were divided into two groups by random number table method with 38 cases in each group.Sertraline hydrochloride dispersive tablets were used in the reference group,and buspirone hydrochloride was used in the study group on basis of the reference group.The serum biochemical indexes,the degree of depression and anxiety disorder,and the occurrence of adverse reac-tions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the improvement of serum biochemical indexes in the study group was better than that in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of Cornell Dementia Depression Scale[(4.48±0.37)points]in the study group was lower than that in the ref-erence group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=15.742,P<0.05).The scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale and self-rating Depression Scale in the study group were lower than those in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence rate of ad-verse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of buspirone hydrochloride is of great sig-nificance in improving the condition of patients with Alzheimer's disease complicated with depression and anxiety dis-order,which can reduce the degree of anxiety and depression disorder in patients,without causing adverse reactions,and can accelerate the recovery speed of related abnormal serum indicators.
