Evaluation of Efficacy of Ebastine Combined with Pimecrolimus Cream in the Treatment of Facial Glucocorticoid-dependent Dermatitis
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of ebastine combined with pimecrolimus cream in the treatment of facial glucocorticoid-dependent dermatitis. Methods A total of 96 patients with glucocorticoid-dependent facial dermatitis admitted to Feicheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to June 2023 were conve-niently selected as the research objects and were equally divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ebastine alone, and the observa-tion group was added with pimecrolimus cream on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect, symptom score and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.83%,higher than that of control group(83.33%),and the difference was sig-nificantly significant(χ2=4.018,P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of descalation, pigmentation, skin atrophy,pap-ule,pustule and flushing in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were significantlly significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence rate of ad-verse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Ebastine combined with pimecrolimus cream used to treat facial glucocorticoid-dependent dermatitis has a high clinical treatment effect, and various clinical symptoms of patients are significantly improved, and the safety is good.
