Effect of Evidence-based Nursing in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing on improving the prognosis of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods Eighty elderly patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to Jing'an District Hospital of Tra-ditional Chinese Medicine from March to August 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation group based on the random number table method. The control group included forty cases for routine nursing, and the observation group included forty cases for evidence-based nursing. The negative emotions and self-care ability of the two groups were compared. Results After the intervention,self-rating anxiety scale(44.92±3.91)points and self-rating depression scale(44.59±3.33)points of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(47.41±3.63)points and(47.39±4.82)points,and self-care ability scale(132.25±12.25)points were higher than those of the control group(125.14±10.78)points,and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.951,3.022,2.407,all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of evidence-based nursing model in el-derly patients with type 2 diabetes is conducive to eliminating negative emotions and enhancing their self-care ability,so as to achieve stable and ideal blood glucose control effect and reduce the occurrence of related complications.
