Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Acupuncture Combined with Superficial Acu-puncture and Auricular Acupuncture Points in the Treatment of Sleep Dis-orders
Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with superficial acupuncture and au-ricular acupuncture points in the treatment of sleep disorders. Methods A total of 84 patients with sleep disorders in Nanping People's Hospital from January to December 2022 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into the observation group and the control group by random number table method with 42 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with conventional medication, based on which the control group was treated with simple acu-puncture,while the observation group was treated with acupuncture combined with superficial needling and auricular acupuncture points. The clinical efficacy,Traditional Chinese Mendicine(TCM)symptom scores and the sleep quality of the two groups were compared. Results The total clinical efficacy rate of the observation group was 97.62%,which was higher than 78.57%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the TCM symptom score of patients in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, patients in the observation group had lower Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scores for each category of items than the control group and the total score in the observation group(5.45±0.73)points was lower than that in the control group(11.54±1.54)points,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with superficial acupuncture and auricular acupunc-ture points in the treatment of sleep disorders is remarkable, and after treatment,it can effectively improve the sleep quality of the patients, promote the improvement of symptoms and accelerate the speed of recovery of the condition.
