Study on the Treatment of Ulnar Impingement Syndrome in Sports Medi-cine
Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of ulnar impingement syndrome in sports medicine.Methods A total of 66 ulnar impingement syndrome patients admitted to Tong'an Hospital of the First Affiliated Hos-pital of Xiamen University from June 2021 to January 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects.According to different treatment methods,the patients were divided into observation group and control group,with 33 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with ulna shortening osteotomy,while patients in the observation group were treated by arthroscopic wafer surgery.The condition changes of two groups of patients with ulna impinge-ment syndrome were recorded.Results The total effective rate of the observation group(93.94%)was higher than that of the control group(84.85%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.215,P<0.05).The were 3 adverse events in the observation group(9.10%)and 6 in the control group(18.19%),the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Modified Joint Function Score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of arthroscopic wafer surgery in the treatment of ul-nar impingement syndrome is more remarkable and it can reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.
