Effect of Stage Intensive Education on Parturient Cooperation and Labor Process
Objective To explore the effect of stage intensive education on parturient cooperation and the labor pro-cess.Methods 100 cases of pregnant women admitted to Longyan First Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical Univer-sity from March 2022 to March 2023 were randomly selected as the samples of this study, and were divided into con-trol group and observation group by double-blind method, and each group with 50 cases. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group added stage intensive education and nursing on the basis of the control group. The duration of each labor stage,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),labor coordination degree, the delivery mode, psychological state and sleep status were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the du-ration of the first, second and third stages of labor in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The postpartum VAS score of the observation group was(2.84±0.35)points,lower than that of the control group[(3.11±0.54)points],and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(t=2.967,P=0.004).The labor cooperation and the natural delivery rate of observation group were higher than that of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After the intervention, the post-partum Self-rating Anxiety Scale score and Self-Rating Depression Scale score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The use of stage intensive education and nursing for parturient is conducive to improving parturients'cooperation in childbirth, shortening labor, relieving post-partum pain and psychological negative emotions, and improving sleep quality, which has positive significance for im-proving the success rate of natural childbirth.
