Effect of Continuous Nursing Concept on Increasing the Rate of Neonatal Breastfeeding
Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing concept on increasing the rate of neonatal breastfeed-ing.Methods A total of 76 pregnant women admitted to Department of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Zhangzhou Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from March 2020 to March 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into the study group and the control group by random number table method,with 38 cases in each group.The maternal nursing method of the control group was general nursing,and the maternal nursing based on the concept of continuous nursing was implemented on the basis of the control group.Compared the breast-feeding rate,the incidence of milk stasis,the incidence of breast distension and the improvement of poor psychological condi-tion before and after nursing between the two groups.Results The breastfeeding rate of study group(94.74%),which was higher than that of control group(78.95%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.146,P<0.05).The incidence of milk stasis and breast tenderness in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the im-provement of maternal adverse psychology in the study group was better than that in the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Based on the concept of continuous nursing,it has a good effect on raising the rate of newborn breastfeeding.
