Effects of 5E Rehabilitation Nursing Mode on Self-management Behavior and Fatigue Symptoms in COPD Patients
Objective To investigate the effects of 5E rehabilitation nursing mode on self-management behavior and fatigue symptoms in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 90 COPD pa-tients treated in Jiuquan People's Hospital from January to June 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects and divided into control group(45 cases, given routine nursing intervention)and study group(45 cases, given 5E rehabili-tation nursing mode)according to nursing methods. The self-efficacy,self management ability and fatigue level were compared between the two groups. Results Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in self-efficacy scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, the self-efficacy score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The self-management behavior score was(59.90±7.11)points,self-management cognition score was(56.61±6.92)points,and self-management envi-ronment score was(38.16±4.29)points in the study group, those were higher than the control group(55.27±6.89)points,(51.51±6.78)points and(33.94±4.07)points,and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.137,3.531,4.787,all P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in the emotional,behavioral,physi-cal perception, and cognitive fatigue scores between the two groups(all P>0.05).After nursing, the fatigue scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion COPD patients with 5E rehabilitation nursing mode can improve self-efficacy,self-management ability, reduce fatigue symptoms.
