Effect of Intervention on Improvement of Postoperative Complications in Patients with Thoracolumbar Fracture Guided by Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing
Objective To analyze the effect of intervention measures guided by integrated Chinese and western medi-cine nursing in improving postoperative complications in patients with thoracolumbar fracture.Methods A total of sev-enty patients with thoracolumbar fracture who received surgical treatment in Shantou Renji Orthopedic Hospital,Shan-tou Central Hospital and Xijing Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University from January 2021 to May 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects.They were divided into two groups according to the different nursing measures,thirty-five patients in the control group received routine nursing,and thirty-five patients in the observa-tion group received integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing based on the control group.Postoperative com-plications occurrence,postoperative pain,Medical Coping Mode Questionnaire(MCMQ)of two groups were compared.Results The total rate of postoperative complications in the observation group was 5.71%,lower than 28.57%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.437,P=0.011).The pain-free rate of observation group(57.14%)was higher than that of control group,mild pain rate of 25.71%,moderate pain rate of 11.43%,and se-vere pain rate of 5.71%were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The coping style yielding score(16.51±1.04)points and avoidance score(24.31±2.35)points of the observa-tion group were lower than those of the control group,and the facing score(30.52±2.01)points was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.001).Conclusion Nursing care for patients with thoracolumbar fracture guided by integrated Chinese and western medicine can reduce postoperative complica-tions and promote patients to face treatment and nursing actively.
