Effects of addition and reduction of Shengjiangsan on Severe Pneumonia(Phlegm-heat Obstructing Lung Type)and on Inflammatory Factors and Peripheral Blood T Lymphocyte Population
Objective To explore the effect of addition and reduction of Shengjiangsan on severe pneumonia with phlegm-heat obstructing lung.Methods A total of 96 patients admitted to Linyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine from January 2022 to December 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into a combina-tion group and a reference group by envelope method,with 48 cases in each group.The reference group received clini-cal routine treatment,and the combination group was treated with Tianxia powder.The clinical efficacy,symptom re-lief,inflammatory factor levels and immune function levels of the two groups were compared.Results The total effec-tive rate of treatment in combination group(97.92%)was higher than that in reference group(85.42%),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.909,P<0.05).The remission time of fever,cough,shortness of breath,expectoration and chest tightness in combination group were shorter than that in reference group,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,tumor necrosis factor-α and CD8+in combination group were lower than those in reference group,while the levels of interleukin-10,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were higher than those in reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of Shengjiangsan can improve the curative effect,relieve the clinical symptoms,re-duce the level of inflammatory factors and strengthen the immune function in the patients with severe pneumonia of phlegm-heat obstructing lung.
