Effects of Aerobic Exercise on Glucose and Lipid Metabolism,Insulin Resis-tance and Vascular Endothelial Function in Children with Simple Obesity
Objective To study and analyze the effects of aerobic exercise on glucose and lipid metabolism, insulin re-sistance and vascular endothelial function in children with simple obesity. Methods A total of 60 children diagnosed with simple obesity in Luojiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Quanzhou City,Fujian Province from May 2020 to May 2023 were simple randomly selected as the study objects. The group was designed according to random number table method. The control group(n=30)was given routine diet and behavior intervention, and the observation group(n=30)was given aerobic exercise treatment based on the intervention conditions of the control group. The glu-cose and lipid metabolism indexes, insulin resistance and vascular endothelial function were compared between the two groups of children at different intervention times. Results After intervention, fasting plasma glucose(FPG),choles-terol(TC)and triglyceride(TG)in the observation group were(4.83±0.53),(4.03±0.42)and(1.56±0.21)mmol/L,lower than the control group which were(5.19±0.61),(4.65±0.53)and(1.79±0.24)mmol/L respectivelly, the differences were statistically significant(t=2.440,5.021,3.950,all P<0.05).After the intervention, two insulin resistance indexes[fasting insulin(FINS),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)]were lower than control group, the differences were sta-tistically significant(t=3.472,2.544,both P<0.05).After intervention, the Nitric oxide(NO)of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the Endothelin-1(ET-1)was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(t=2.719,3.298,both P<0.05).Conclusion Aerobic exercise therapy can effec-tively improve the glucose and lipid metabolism and insulin resistance of children with simple obesity, and has a good effect on the restoration of vascular endothelial function.
