Comparative Study of RIRS and mPCNL in the Treatment of Kidney Stones
Objective To evaluate the application of retrograde intrarenal surgery(RIRS)lithotomy and micro-channel percutaneous nephrolithotomy(mini-pereutaneous mPCNL)in patients with kidney stones. Methods Retrospectively selected clinical data of 94 patients with single kidney stones admitted to Dafang County People's Hospital from Au-gust 2022 to October 2023.The surgical treatment method was used as the basis for grouping.47 patients receiving RIRS lithotripsis were used as the control group and 47 patients receiving mPCNL were used as the observation group. The operative related indexes, stone clearance effect, serum β2-microglobulin(β2-MG),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),malondialol(MDA),Norepinephrine(NE)and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Re-sults The first stage stone clearance rate in the observation group was 85.11%,higher than 65.96%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.663,P=0.031).The operation time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the postoperative hospitalization time was longer than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There were no significant differences in postopera-tive complications, intraoperative blood loss and first time to get out of bed between the two groups.1 d after opera-tion,the levels of β2-MG,BUN,MDA and NE in observation group were higher than those in control group, the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There were no significant differences in β2-MG,BUN,MDA and NE between the two groups at 3 days after operation(all P>0.05).Conclusion Both RIRS and mPCNL have a good surgi-cal effect on patients with kidney stones.mPCNL has a high primary stone clearance rate and a short surgical time, but it can cause short-term effects on patients'kidney function and stress indexes.
