Total Effective Rate and CRP of Sodium Valproate Combined with Leveti-racetam in Patients with Epilepsy after Stroke
Objective To analyze the efficacy of sodium valproate combined with levetiracetam in the treatment of epilepsy after stroke. Methods A total of 80 patients with post-stroke epilepsy admitted to Donghai County People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects. They were divided into two groups by odd-even method. The normal group(n=40)received monovalproate, and the observation group(n=40)was given sodium valproate combined with levetiracetam. The total effective rate of rehabilitation, inflammatory fac-tor index, neurological function score and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 92.50%,higher than 75.00%in the normal group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.501,P=0.034).The inflammatory factor indexes and neurological function scores of the observation group were better than those of the normal group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of sodium valproate combined with levetiracetam in the treatment of epilepsy after stroke is precise and the adverse reactions are few.
