Evaluation of the Effect of Bipolar Insulin Aspartate on Blood Glucose Level in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To investigate the effect of bipolar insulin aspartate on blood glucose level in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 78 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the First Clinical Hospital of China Three Gorges University from April 2022 to June 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects.According to the order of hospitalization, they were divided into reference group(39 cases)and observation group(39 cases). The reference group was treated with oral hypoglycemic drugs, and the observation group was treated with biphasic insulin aspartate. The efficacy, blood glucose level and islet function of the two groups were compared. Results The total effec-tive rate of clinical treatment of the observation group was(97.44%)higher than that of the reference group(79.49%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.154,P<0.05).After treatment, the blood glucose indexes such as fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin were reduced in both groups, and the observation group was lower than the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Af-ter treatment, the insulin resistance index of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the ref-erence group;the islet β-cell function index of both groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, biphasic insulin aspartate adjuvant therapy is more effective than single oral hypoglycemic drug, which can effectively reduce blood glucose level and improve islet function.
