Objective To study the effect of comfort nursing in emergency patients with phalangeal fracture.Methods A total of 120 patients with phalangian fracture admitted to the emergency department of Fujian Funeng Group Gen-eral Hospital from May 2020 to March 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects,and they were divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given rou-tine nursing,and the observation group was given comfort nursing based on the control group.The grip strength,qual-ity of life and complications were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results After 4 and 8 weeks of intervention,the grip strength of the affected side of the observation group reached(187.24±22.39)N and(310.45±34.89)N,which were greater than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.689,2.180,both P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of Mos Item Short From Healthy Survey(SF-36)(physical pain,vital vitality,mental health and activity ability)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.33%,which was lower than that in the control group(15.00%),and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=4.904,P<0.05).Conclusion Comfort nursing can effectively increase the grip strength of affected side in emergency patients with phalangeal fracture,reduce complications and improve the quality of life of patients.
