Application of Family-centered Supportive Intervention Model in Nursing of Senile Dementia Patients
Objective To explore the effect and application value of family-centered supportive intervention model in senile dementia patients.Methods A total of 100 patients with senile dementia admitted to Qingzhou People's Hospi-tal from January to December 2022 were prospectively purely randomly selected as the study subjects and divided into two groups by random drawing method.The control group(50 cases)received routine nursing mode,and the observa-tion group(50 cases)implemented family-centered supportive intervention mode.The daily living ability and quality of life of two groups of patients before and after nursing were assessed,and the satisfaction of patients and their fami-lies on nursing was investigated.Results Before nursing,there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the assessment of daily living ability and quality of life(both P>0.05).After nursing,the scores of daily living ability and quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statis-tically significant(both P<0.05).The total satisfaction of patients and their families in the observation group(96.00%)was higher than that in the control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.061,P<0.05).Conclusion The family-centered supportive intervention mode for the nursing work of senile dementia patients has a significant effect,improving life ability and quality of life,and nursing satisfaction is high.
