Effect of Knee Joint Loosening Combined with Traction in the Treatment of Joint Stiffness after Fracture
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of knee joint loosening combined with traction in the treatment of joint stiffness after fracture. Methods A total of 64 patients with knee joint stiffness after fracture treated in Wuhai People's Hospital from January 2022 to May 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into observation group and control group by simple random method, with 32 cases in each group. The control group re-ceived conventional rehabilitation treatment, and the observation group received knee joint loosening combined with intermittent constant force traction treatment on the basis of the control group. After continuous treatment for 4 weeks, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, and the incidence of complications in the two groups was ob-served.Results After treatment, active range of motion(92.39±10.52)° and passive range of motion(114.83±13.56)° in observation group were higher than those in control group of(82.07±9.65)° and(100.45±12.77)°,the differences were statistically significant(t=4.089,4.367,both P<0.05).After treatment,Lysholm knee score(88.79±6.15)points and Berg Balance Scale scores(48.96±5.47)points in the observation group were higher than those in the control group of(79.85±7.66)points and(40.35±5.50)points,and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.148,6.279,both P<0.05).After treatment, the excellent and good rate of knee joint in observation group(93.75%)was signifi-cantly higher than that in control group(71.88%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.379,P=0.020).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(χ2=0.217,P=0.641).Conclusion Knee joint loosening combined with intermittent constant force traction has a significant effect on the treat-ment of joint stiffness after fracture, which can increase the range of knee joint motion, improve the function and stabil-ity of the knee joint, which does not increase the incidence of complications.
