Study on Related Factors of Non-convulsive Status Epilepticus
Objective To investigate the factors affecting the persistent onset of non convulsive seizure(NCS).Meth-ods Clinical data of 64 patients admitted to the Department of Neurology of Dingxi Second People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2021 were selected as the study objects and divided into continuous group(n=32)and non-continuous group(n=32)according to whether non-convulsive epilepsy lasted. The sleep quality of the two groups was evaluated, and the blood homocysteine(Hcy)level of the two groups was determined.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors for the persistent onset of NCS.Results The sleep disorder(SD)and hyperhomocystein-emia(HHcy)in the continuous group were higher than those in the non-continuous group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Based on multivariate Logistic regression analysis, the OR value of SD for NCS was 2.275 and the OR value of HHcy for NCS was 3.154,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion SD and HHcy may promote the development of NCS and are independent risk factors. In clinical di-agnosis and treatment of NCS,it is necessary to pay attention to the sleep status of patients, monitor the Hcy level.
